I really like the black and white artstyle, it's very cute and charming with good shape language, the contrast between the two shades is one of my favorite things to do in art :). The music is catchy and it really gives it a chill vibe.

Gameplay feels very nice, it's fun to parkour around and over the bosses while fighting.

(spoiler warning)

A few things were not clear to me at first, like the disappearances of items once you get a new one which I understood after some time. Near the end  I missed a cloud and the meteor event would not play, so I had to go back and hit the cloud I missed near the flag, after which the meteor event worked.

Overall it was fun and entertaining, very good work!

Super happy you like it! I was thinking of a better way to swap items. Perhaps more of a visual indicator of what happens when they are picked up. I will also see if I can make the cloud sequence more clear.

I love the game! Great art work and a good background music. Story is simple, but I like that. It has a simple intro and an end. Overall a complete game for me :-)

I wanted it to be just that! Thank you :D

Pretty cool game! Visual style is nice, gameplay and responsiveness are smooth. Nicely done!

Have a question as well. I picked up the boomerang and after that I bought the feather. Is there no way to switch them? I'd like to use the boomerang now and then as well, for a boss for instance.

You will have to go back to pick up the boomerang again. If you got it once it will be in the same place. Thanks for the feedback :)

Ah, right, wouldn't it be better to just make all items you pick up part of your equipment? Or is choosing your item a deliberate part of the experience?

Suppose it makes sense to keep them instead of swapping. The original idea was to change power between stages but I scratched that and just made them more like bonus unlocks than requirements.

Great game. I enjoyed it for real. Visuals nice, music catchy and relaxing and story short but it had it's own charm. On a side note, i did feel that in some situations the coyote jump mechanic would be great. Also sometimes the equipped items stopped working and i could only do the kicking combo (this also fixes after a bit or changing locations it seems, but vs bosses could be confusing mid battle). Keep up the great work!

Thanks a lot! I am not a fan of the coyote jump as I see learning the timings as a part of the experience. Sorry for the item bug. Still looking for a solution and it has been a hard nut to crack.

not bad, i liked the game but the plot is a bit bland.

The plot was not meant to be too complex. Still happy you like the game :)

Very charming game! I like the artstyle! :D

The lack of coyote time made me fall a few times, however I still found gameplay simple and enjoyable.

Thank you so much! :D
